Easing back into cooking after a week of vacation. I made a boneless turkey breast "pot roast". Actually it is poached in a seasoned broth with carrots, onions and potatoes. But, if you write potatoes on your list and remember to take the list to the store and actually look at the different kinds of potatoes but still come back home without any, it tastes quite nice with rice too.
Tonight we are just having peppers, zucchini, onions and eggs as it the night we play Indiaca, world's greatest unknown sport.

We had rotisserie chicken, rice, green leaf lettuce salad, and a pineapple/strawberry mix. I am in the little kitchen up at the ski place, so the pre-roasted chicken is ideal. Tonight we do the white meat, I think it will get some bbq sauce put on it.
Fun and simple here.

Mary I have good intentions of using a list but it never works out. When I dig in the black hole I call a purse I come up with 27 coupons I'm never going to use, envelopes for bills I've forgotten to pay, the occasional lipstick, but I can't find the list. Yet it falls out when I get out my car keys in the parking lot.

Quote: on your list and remember to take the list to the store This is why I love my phone app!! When I think of something to add, I just dictate it into my phone, and I quit leaving the written list on the counter at home, because I always have it with me. I rarely have to make a return trip.

I tried the phone but I need to always hold the list up to my face and read and re-read it and still end up doing several tours of the market. I even make my list into categories based on store layout. Maybe I have AD... was that a bird? Mary

Made a nice risotto with mushrooms and zucchini and leftover chicken. It was just me and it was lovely. All I needed was a cat on the counter watching me chop and it would have been close to perfect.

Becky, I had the cat on the counter observing this evening. He eventually got bored when he realized he was getting no treats.
Chicken Marsala for dinner this evening.

Heh, if my cats were permitted on the counter,I wouldn't dare turn my head. A diet makes them bold....
Which recipe for Marsala?
