Over there she can rightfully call it "Imported Cheese" She is forced to eat that domestic crap they produce over there. Mary, might I suggest a nice can of Cheese Whiz to round out your collection of fine imported cheeses? :P :D

There's a post over there for 'Chile con Queso' (yes, I know con queso is 'with cheese.' When I saw it, I thought it was Frank being funny. Poor dear, didn't know where to find velveeta and Rotel tomatoes in England.

There are some things you just don't kid about  Funny you should mention Velveeta...The church I go to is doing a fundraiser lunch this Sunday and asked for volunteers to make a dish...I said I would. I was handed a recipe for some sort of enchilada casserole (Baptists are the casserole clan of the Christian world) The list of ingredients included 2 lbs of velveeta...pray for me...

Sub cheddar. They'll wonder why it tastes so good.

Don't be knockin Cheez Whiz. It makes great cheese potatoes with a little butter and seasoned salt.

Then I will step out of the closet to say I have brought Velveeta to Switzerland. Thanks for letting me get that off my chest, I'd better go flambé or butterfly now for penance.

Bleh. I never had it as a kid, so I never developed a taste for it. I buy it sometimes if I have to give pills to my dog. I have to remember to look for it in the human food section.

TLC,

It tastes like both, but contains neither!
