Quote: I agree about the takeover by the Jello-salad crowd. About the time someone asked for Amish friendship bread I began to wonder why I had decided to come back. Honestly, I wanted to send them to http://lmgtfy.com/, but that seemed a bit mean. Love that link! Thanks, I may be using that myself. Mary

There are 31 pages about Crystal's biscuits. I find it easy enough to ignore the requests for stuff people could google for on their own, and find it encouraging that they want to learn how to cook more stuff.

With the new thread name and the freedom to have some fun with celebrities, can we discuss Chris Kimball?

Quote: what is that mag called? Taste of Home???). There's a post over there for 'Chile con Queso' (yes, I know con queso is 'with cheese.' When I saw it, I thought it was Frank being funny. Poor dear, didn't know where to find velveeta and Rotel tomatoes in England.

There are some things you just don't kid about Funny you should mention Velveeta...The church I go to is doing a fundraiser lunch this Sunday and asked for volunteers to make a dish...I said I would. I was handed a recipe for some sort of enchilada casserole (Baptists are the casserole clan of the Christian world) The list of ingredients included 2 lbs of velveeta...pray for me...
