I'm home till the 6th...then off to Alabama.

Well, to belabor a point.......yesterday, my neighbor came home from a cruise, and came over while I was reading FG's last post to DH, in a Dame Edna Estridge voice (some times, I do a Marylin Monroe voice; DH finds it entertaining) and I explained what I was doing and what my opinion of FG is. After a couple of sentences, neighbor says, "boy, she needs to layoff the romance novels, she starting to talk like 'em." Since I don't read them, I wouldn't have recognized it, but I thought that her language is antiquarian.

Can it be? Maybe she's an elderly shut-in who lives out her fantasies on the board and reading bodice rippers. And has cats. Lots and lots of cats. (And her fantasy rocket scientist husband looks like Fabio.....)

I'll just sit over here with my romance novel and pet the cat. After all, with the one car gone most of the day, it's not as if I can go anywhere, anyway.

To explain - I picked up a book that was supposed to be about some dinosaur but wasn’t - you can imagine my dismay! All it had was a bunch of words in it describing other words - how is that about dinosaurs?

Now I’m good to go at the beginning. I look up brontosaurus, stegosaurus, aptosaurus, - nuthin’! So then I look up the one they mention on the cover of this book - THESAURUS - still nuthin’. That’s when I knew this was just the book to help me write to the Da Bull Man - plenty of words that don’t mean nuthin’!!

P.S. I even looked up ‘chili’ and all it said was, “Texas Ambrosia - never has beans.”

Good to see you back to normal...since you have the dinosaur book out with all them big words you can flesh out the acronym "gcsc" for fun.

She's at it again. Needs ideas for using the hundreds of spices she has plus the many items in her pantry and freezer. That's what really curls my toes about her - bragging about all her unnecessary expenditures. Yech!
