You are always welcome Amy. Just so you realize you would be slumming it.

I'm making these pot pies tonight with leftover turkey. They're delicious, and definitely a cut above the usual. Highly recommend. Amy

Last night, cornbread and what we refer to as chili that no texan would recognize , but we like it and baked chicken wings. Santa Clause parade was just prior to our late dinner, I have a feeling next year there will be no believers left in my house. Tonight, pot roast (more or less the CI version), CI braised brussel sprouts, CI roasted green beans, mashed pots ( and like Darcie i think of Crystal each time I type that), corn.

I think we have the last of the believers in our 4 yr old great grandson. I hate to see it happen. His older brothers and all of his cousins have been warned! fitzie

Last night I made CI Beef Stew. It was cold and rainy here all day yesterday so this was a great meal for one of those days.

Pete - what's the wiggle? Do I want to know?
We had barley soup with beef last night. My husband really likes barley so we use half the beef and double the barley. I might have to try a barley "risotto" sometime.
