I also love cold pizza, but some pizzas need to be reheated. I use my Panini Grill with what I feel is great success for me. I put the slices on the bottom and then I lower the lid, but to keep the top of the grill from touching the pizza, I use my 1/4 or 1/2 cup metal measuring cup to stop the top part of the grill. This way the top of the pizza is also getting heated but without the grill marks.

I just leave mine out and have room temp pizza the next day for breakfast. (Part of the Breakfast of Champions: cold pizza and flat keg beer. I just can't do the latter anymore.)
It's an interesting article, but a) I don't have a griddle or even a griddle pan, and b) no way I am waiting 30 minutes for a slice of leftover pizza.

I heat mine up in a skillet on low. Ages ago on TOBB, someone posted a list of tips and tricks, and this was one of them.
ETA: I found the thread with tips and tricks and copied it over here. Some of them are pretty good.

We either tempt fate by leaving it out overnight and eating it out of the box, or reheat it in a skillet. Either way works for us
