I just saw this on fb - apparently CI is partnering with Amazon to offer discounts (maybe that's not new but I hadn't seen it done before). I bought the same item about a month ago and put it away for my mother's day gift, along with a spiralizer cookbook. Wish I'd waited :(

FWIW, this is the cookbook I bought to go with it. It has tons of 5 star reviews on Amazon and her blog seems to have a lot of good recipes without them being too funky. (And now it's less than what a paid for it too! That drives me crazy.)
