Heh. I'm a "do first, read instructions later" kind of cook too. ;-)

Anyway, you can *always* ask for help here. But do read the stuff on chiles in the book, it's really complete and informative.

I just learned Roberto Santibanez has a new cookbook coming out, Tacos, Tortas and Tamales: Flavors from the griddles, pots, and street-side kitchens of Mexico. Given how much I am enjoying Truly Mexican I'll definitely be checking it out.

I already have that ordered, butTGC told me it I
was backordered. I was surprised that I got it for $10.00, since it was a new book, which usually would not be included in sales.

I'll let you know when I get it, and if it looks as good as his first book.

Me too, I never got back to the board after my questions, but the things I have made from Truly Mexican have been Truly wonderful......yuck,yuck,yuck.... :lol:
