Or maybe even winter?
Garlic doesn't count, even though that will be in during that time. I mean the greens and other cold weather stuff (though greens are all I do). I didn't cover them last year, though I got them into January, but this year I will cover, and hopefully have them the entire winter. And some of you are in much warmer areas than me, so you may be growing tomatoes now, if so, good for you!
Here is my
winter greens album, with the last (actually, the first) 8 photos taken today, just 19 days after transplant! Swiss chard is the worst performer so far, but it is more of a warm weather crop. I really have way more greens than I know what to do with, but a lot will go into soups, since that season is upon us.
Has anyone ever make any chips from any greens other than kale? I am going to try some of the larger ones, just to see.
