Looks like Cook's will be changing direction:

Fairly standard arc when the company gets too big for the entrepreneur to run (or possibly want to run); it is particularly bad when he/she is fairly public, which puts a big dent in their hours, nicely illustrated by "Kimball was filming a television show and could not be reached for comment."

Thanks for posting. Combined with CK's age and his new life (wife), this doesn't surprise me. With private equity gurus on board I suspect there'll be many significant changes ahead.

Does anybody think one of the changes will be Advertisements in the magazine? I'm surprised they've held out this long.

When the first display ad shows up in CI or CC the value of a subscription will drop considably since somebody else will be paying the bills that "I" pay now. I might even stick around for $10 per year. I probably won't pay $35\yr and read ads.
