Recently I cancelled as an experiment; I expected to receive the customary deluge of 'come on back' offers - nothing! Now, I ain't lonely but I can afford the annual; I'm just wondering if there are any current coupons out there....

Maybe they don't bother foreigners like they do Yankees

I was also curious when I quit. Nope, pretty much nothing. I guess the don't want to encourage us :)

OTOH, I've missed them, but also been expanding my repertoire. Maybe they know when the subscriber knows when it is time to move on.

FWIW, the digital version of CI is cheaper and imho much nicer than the print version. You still get a discount for the web version if you use that as well.

I was just at the Nook portion of Barnes and Noble and saw that you can get a year's subscription for CI and CC for $1.99 per issue for each. That's a total of $11.94 per year. It does not matter if you have a Nook or not. They bill you the $1.99 as the issue appears which is nice. I had already bought the iTunes one for CI, but did get the same deal for Cuisine at Home and it works great.

The Nook magazines are epubs. That means that you can download them to the free Nook for PC app. and view them there. Additionally, once they are downloaded they appear in the My Barnes and Nobles books in My Documents. If you click on them there you can view them on the free Adobe Digital Editions which allows copying if you want to transfer the recipes into cooking software or share them.

Much cheaper than the iTunes app which cannot be viewed on a pc. You can still see them on an iPad or a Nook tablet, but as I understand it, not a Kindle.

Thanks for the tip Alina. I just might, wabbit, I just might. By "might' I mean "positively will." :D
