Wow, look at who's all here --and Crystal's been resurrected and Kurt's been seduced over! I'm impressed. But do I have to go the woodshed since I have been really negligent about posting here? If I say please, really nicely, can I come back? I actually have started cooking again--did get a little saturated from my four years at Cook's and it's taken about this long to become desaturated—but am now playing around with food photography as a hobby, so actually have to cook something to take a picture of. I'll see if I can post my olive oil cake picture below. And I don't know if you all have found it, but Kenji Alt (who left Cook's over a year ago) is posting some really good stuff on his blog at Serious Eats in preparation for his new book on Science in the kitchen. I'll post a link in the food web section (I remember Fuzzy gets very upset if we don't keep to topic). And thanks, Amy, for the nudge.! And, finally, if anyone needs a Cook's recipe, send me an email. I'll try for the photo:
