I was mainly a lurker way back when, but I loved the board and the people. This is nice.

I am flattered that you connected my TOBB name with my real name on here.

It's not that I am not secure in my masculinity, but can I be an AC esquire instead of princess? Even if my wife does call me a drama queen, I'm still no princess

Thanks everyone! This is a serious flashback, isn't it? Frank: Yes, I've moved. I'm in the land of ice and snow now for a couple of years. Hoping to move back west, but you never know... Crystal: So glad to hear the little princess is doing well. I tried to find you a few years ago to say happy birthday, but must have an old email. Fuzzy: Thanks for making this place for the cool kids to hang out. Is this a reaction to something I missed over at the CI board, or just your desire to have your own board? Everybody else: It is great to see so many familiar screen names here. Maybe you can get me out of my cooking funk.

Tastes Like Chicken, Ask if something happened to TOBB (The Other Bulletin Board) and you might get bowled over with complaining. Take a look at some of the threads about TOBB. Great to have you back. Tell us about your recent bread discoveries. TOT (The Other Tim)

Ah, I wasn't getting the TOBB reference. I'll look. Let's not hijack this thread with that topic.
No major recent bread discoveries. I have (for now) perfected my everyday whole wheat bread recipe. I've kind of been relaxing about new things recently. I still haven't baked much from Jeffrey Hamelman's Bread book. Perhaps I will motivate to work my way through it and post on here. One thing I can say about TOBB is that I will miss that thread. I saved it just in case they delete it, but it was a really good time.

Wow! This is like old times. We've even had someone show up, post for a day, get welcomed by Crystal, and disappear into the ether.
