Mary, I am anxiously awaiting to hear what your culinary Christmas gifts are going to be this year. After that Curried caramel corn, you are now my 'go to girl" for great ideas.... Karen |

Well, Karen, I was all set to make lemon and garlic salts BUT my friends kept bringing up the time I infused vodka. Actually they have been saying that for years and I ignore them. Then, just today, I saw Jamie Oliver's recipe for pomegranate spiced gin. That should keep the lushes happy. I might make some salt too. And some of the curried caramel corn, for me if no one else! And in the same issue is Chocolate, Hazelnut and Ginger Figgy Pudding Balls. These are balls made of ground nuts, stem ginger(ginger in syrup, I didn't know), figs, candied peel ground up together and made into truffle sized balls and covered in a mix of chocolate and honey. I put them on the list. Mary |
