Folks, The family is doing TY Day in a rented house near Newport, OR. If anyone has been there ... recommendations on where to buy fish/seafood? Other tips on the area? |

How was Newport? Dungeness crab if the season is right (months with an r in them, if I remember correctly). I spent most of my time a bit farther north. Tillamook Cheese Factory and Tillamook Country Smoker for beef jerky seemed to stymy my progress south. And I have to bite, what is TY day? ... TurkeY day? Paw-TY day? Here it would be TYphoon day, which occurs randomly a few times a year. |
