https://www.masterclass.com/ I received an 'all-access' pass for one year from my darling. While it includes a very wide range of topics, I'm mostly interested in the four related to cooking: Keller, Waters, Puck, and Ramsay. All of the presenters are tops in their field - some videos are in place and others are coming soon. Currently, there are 31 classes - now and 'coming soon'. My other passion area is photography and so I am starting with Annie Leibovitz and other related professionals. We think there will be something to learn from all of the presenters regardless of the specific field as we find mastery contains wide-ranging truths applicable to most things. I think the pass is $250 USD for one year. |

I’m really interested in what you think of it. Was hoping someone i “knew” would trial it for me! |

How technical are the presentations? How long? |

Reviving this thread as I've been watching the cooking content while I knit a sweater, mostly on weekends. Made my way through Alice Water's MasterClass, which I greatly enjoyed. I knew nothing about her nor her restaurant. Now I feel like I've been to her home for dinner! She introduced me to the suribachi. All these years I've been either pressing garlic or chopping. Figuring out where to buy one. MTC Kitchen in NYC looks interesting, https://www.mtckitchen.com/japanese-style-mortar-suribachi/ but might check out H-Mart first. Anyone have one of these and can recommend a size? Next watch is Keller. Hubby is crazy for Curiosity Stream, The Great Courses and MasterClass. Lucky me. |
