Folks, Someone's implemented an idea I had years ago and never pursued. Looks pretty well-implemented, at least so far: http://www.foodonthetable.com/ The idea is a shopping list planner organized around saving money. |

I gave it a shot and think it needs more developing. Only the biggest chains are included (no Lunds/Byerlys/Trader Joes, etc.). You can't specify anything like "organic" or "no enhancements in my meat, please." Plus the vegetarian options are weak. Basically it's "pick a protein that's on sale" and that's about it. Didn't see anything I'd really use. Maybe in other markets it is more robust. But it's a great concept and I'll check again in a few months to see if it's been improved. |
