I've been putting a bunch of CC recipes in my Living Cookbook. They can't even get the step-by-step instructions in the correct order. I doubt anyone there will be adding invisible metadata. |

I can't find it through their menu but did locate it: http://www.google.com/Top/Home/Cooking/Recipe_Collections/ |

That takes me to Google's list of recipe collections, but entering "Apple Pie" in the search box at the top of that page takes me to the same results page as when I search for Apple Pie from the main Google page rather than a set of reipes for apple pie. |

Because, presumably, people don't know how to type "recipe" in the main google search box? |

TheFuzzy wrote: Because, presumably, people don't know how to type "recipe" in the main google search box? I'm not sure if you were referring to Pete's post or mine, but the way that this search differs is that you can choose to limit the search by ingredients, calories, etc. Google is only searching recipes that include this metadata they can extract for these limits which means it's restricted to some of the larger sites like epicurious, foodnetwork, etc. that have the metadata. |
