Tobb is boring as sh*t, AFAICT. I personally feel defeated; I don't know who to greet, and they are non talkative and non-joking. How the heck o petey did we all get to be family in the first damn place? We are a bunch of electics, who share a passion. It all went to pot when those who "proudly" proclaimed to be "humorless old fossils" fought for and won TOBB...they deserve each other. In honor of Rhonda..I prefer to make levees not war.

I left work a bit early the other day and swung by our only decent (IMO) kitchen vendor. I arrived home with 3 new DeBuyer skillets and a cast iron one. My wife says "leave you alone for 2 hours and look what happens". So yesterday I made her foccacia, butter, scallops and some other stufff... I am forgiven Plus DeBuyer is cheap!

My husband worked as a mechanic for many years and of course spent a lot of money on tools. The upside to that is when I want to buy a kitchen gadget, even the most expensive ones pale in comparison to his tools (or even toolboxes - one of them cost $8500!). Hmmm, maybe I can get that Sous Vide Supreme I've been eyeing...

I have a photoshopped picture of Crystal (well, it's her face, anyway) that I just might have to haul out and post here...
There was some occasion to create it a few years ago for TOBB and I saw it in my Imageshack files the other day.

It is more expensive, but unless you've got a lot of counter space, the Polyscience is just more versatile. I'm a member of WS Reserve (joined because of how much I saved on expedited shipping for mine), and I occasionally get offers from them for 10% off anything. If you're interested, I'll let you know the next time I get one of those emails. Amy

Amy I just told my husband he couldn't buy (another) $1000 motorcycle (I think that would make #19), so I guess I'll have to wait awhile LOL...

Darcie, you could go the old fashioned way: lie and cheat. Add a fifty dollar item into the Costco cart now and then and opps...return it for cash. Save this money and then come home with the item that.......guess what you found at a moving sale, never used!!!! What a bargain. Of course you keep it in the trunk of your car until the presentation moment is just right.
