I have had a virus warning popup twice this week. Is anyone else having any issues like this on Serious Eats?

I went through approximately 20 pages and links and did not encounter any. I use a variety of active and passive protections (quiet, Frank...).

If you can force this to happen (or replicate it), try to copy the URL and send a message to SE about it.

I REALLY hate viri :!: :evil:

Me too Wino! It was strange, I was searching for their pizza dough recipe when it happened. Just out of curiosity, I googled,"serious eats virus", and actually saw a pizza blog where someone else had some trouble. I am wondering if it is around the pizza dough pages. I will try to go there again this weekend and see if I can get a URL.

I followed your idea and Googled "serious eats virus" and found the pizza thread you mentioned. It is certainly something to be careful about; one of my staff got her computer infected with the virus that is discussed - she did download the purported 'solution' which embedded the bug. It took me 2 hours to get rid of it :( :evil:
