Have not tried them although I am usually a fan of Kirkland things. I would wonder though, why they are on Amazon? Overstock, outdated, a bad batch, discontinued....etc etc.

Maybe Amazon just normally stocks a bunch of Kirkland things, that's all new to me.

Hi Meryl!
I've seen them at costco. I'm thinking that I'd rather get a more known product, myself. Chocosphere sells Venchi chocolates which are really good, albeit a bit expensive.

Hi Nance,

I've decided to pass on these - I will stick to my favorite high quality chocolates, such as Santander, etc. I haven't tried Venchi - will check them out. I love Chocosphere - I buy my favorite cocoa powder from them - EL Rey. It's amazing!

Have you tried Newman's Own Organic Super Dark 70%? I was really impressed and pleasantly surprised. I don't like the rest of this line (I've tried 3 out of the six, and am not interested in trying the others), but this bar is outstanding! I did a quick review on it at the CI board, but as usual, it's down, and has been so since last Fri. So what else is new???

Yeah, and for much more money, of course. Somewhere I read that these chocolates go for around $10.00 at Costco, and they're over $20.00 at Amazon.

At the moment my absolute favorite chocolate for eating is Taza. Unbelievably addictive!

@ Meryl and Ivy,
I'll have to do a tasting. Sigh...hard work but someone's got to do it

Nancy,

I just sent you a PM. Let me know if it went through. It shows it to be in my Outbox, but not in my Sent box, although it said it was sent.

It could also be that they are being sold by a 3rd party seller who buys at Costco and turns around and sells them on Ammy
