Folks, Someone has been sporadically trying to hack into this board to gain administrator access. They have not succeeded, but this does mean that periodically you may see a message on login that you have made too many login attempts and need to respond to a CAPTCHA as well as your password. Given the intermittent nature of the intrusion attempts, there isn't much we can do about this. Sorry for the annoyance. |

All, BTW, if any of you have very simple, easy-to-guess passwords (like your middle name, or something based on your nick name, or "bacon"), it might be a good idea to change them. Make a new password which you can remember, but contains mixed case and/or punctuation marks. Here's some examples of good passwords (don't use these exactly, of course): KitchenAid#1 sous|vide LC&AC@SLT buerre-blank To change your password, go to: Top of the screen --> user control panel --> profile --> Edit Account Settings |

If they are dumb enough to come from a consistent IP, you can blacklist them on your firewall. |

Fuzzy, FYI, I have had a bunch of log in trys when I am up skiing and using my little notebook computer. I don't always have or remember all my passwords so I try guessing. I did not however try to get admin access (obviously!) but did have to retry my own a whole bunch of times. |
