We have SSL now!

Members,

I have enabled an SSL certificate for Cookaholics.org. This means you can now log in using https://www.cookaholics.org, and I recommend that you do in order to protect your username/password and any message traffic you have.

In 3 months or so, I will switch the site to SSL-only to protect us from hackers. Your old links should continue working.

I'm actually glad I put it off until now.

Thanks to Let's Encrypt, the tooling is much, much better and adding SSL, which would have taken me a whole day a couple years ago, took me under an hour.

Kinda! And Let's Encrypt allows me to encrypt the website without spending an hour fussily rolling out pastry! It's like the Dufour of web security.
