I've given people the fancy dish gloves, with faux-fur cuffs and spangles. |

I got one of those brushes (Daffy Duck version) for my Dad a few years ago. It lived in the kitchen, totally unused, for an absolute age. It reminded me of the little mop in Cold Comfort Farm. I now have a cupboard full of things my mother-in-law has gotten me because I love to cook. The weirdest is a mug that holds approximately 1 quart that came with a tiny, 3-inch whisk. The whisk has actually been useful for when my moisturizer separates. |
