Mid-winter blues can make you do silly things: decided to re-check my 5 year old Thermopen - still perfect ![]() A tumbler filled with ice and water = 32F and water boiling in the tea kettle was 208F (which is accurate at my altitude, 2,000 ft. above sea level) Y'all can stop getting excited now... ![]() ![]() ![]() Stay tuned for more exciting updates. ![]() |

Glad you mentioned this, Wino, I'm going to make it a point to test my Thermapen as well; it's been in use for a very long time now (I'm guessing 7+ years or so.) |

I compare my Thermapen to my Anova circulator whenever I get the latter out. If they're within a half degree of each other I figure I'm in good shape. |
