Can anyone suggest an olive oil dispenser that can be easily used while cooking that does not leak? It seems like this would be so handy; however, the ones I have considered have mixed reviews regarding leakage, etc. Thanks in advance. |

I use an Emile Henry Oil Bottle. It is opaque, and the lid closes when not in use, both helping extend the quality and life of your oil. I have two (sauteing oil, and olive oil) and they do not leak. However, the top can fall out, depending on how tightly the cork fits. I just put a finger on the top when pouring; still one handed, and not inconvenient. |

I use a glass Chef's Planet Oil Dispenser. It is beautiful enough to keep out if you want to and easy to use. It is clear glass, so I keep it in my pantry when I'm not using it. I also keep some with vinegars in them for our salads.... |

I use a nice bottle and the pourer/stopper that bartenders use. Looks good on the counter and no leakage. You can find them where bar supplies are sold |

Janet, I buy "It's Not Santini"* olive oil from Trader Joes. Each bottle comes with a little plastic pour spout. These stay in fairly well and don't drip; I tend to wash them afterwards and use them for other containers (balsamic, etc.). (* this is the olive oil in the 1L cylindrical bottle. It used to be branded Santini, and is still made by them, but is now a TJ's brand label so that they can sell it slightly cheaper than the brand-name Santini bottles sell for in other stores: http://everythingfestive.files.wordpres ... ve-oil.jpg ) |

Thanks, everyone for your replies. I will enjoy having the oil close at hand while cooking. |
