| Post subject: | Ambrosia Salad |
So, I'm attending Easter Breakfast at my friends' church and would like to take a beautiful Ambrosia Salad in a pretty trifle bowl. Now I just need a good recipe. I found one at CC that looks nice except it's a bit heavy on the citrus with only a pineapple to go along with 5 oranges and two grapefruit. It's probably very good but the ones I've had in the past (never made one myself before) have had grapes and nuts and all kinds of things added. Does anyone have a favorite recipe for this? I'm open to most anything except mini marshmallows. Oh, and I'll have to make it up the day before because the service starts early. |
