Mary,
There is a new dust-up about unethical subscription collections by CDS Fulfillment Services; it is carefully legal but very unethical.
I appears that Cook's Country has become a Facebook destination and Mari Levine, if she's still there, is busy with that.
It would be wonderful to hear from Lindsay about dealing with Hearst's subsidiary in DesMoines.

CI is pretty present on facebook too. I think it is probably a better deal for them as it is more marketing oriented. I did catch the dust up but book clubs have been doing that for years. I remember being in a record club as a teenager and not knowing how to make it stop. Like you said, not illegal just not nice.

I'm not sure I have another baby pool in me... Especially when people cheat. Ahem, you know who you are. Amy

Jean, It's okay(I think); to this day I could grab her up and kiss her cheeks. She was a great sport about this one. Ask her about the time I'd been tagged by spam/virus. I am gullible.
