I made the Heavenly Hots (SOUR CREAM pancakes: 2 cups sour cream to 1/4 cup flour) from the latest issue of CC (March 2011) and they were just okay. To say they were delicate would be an understatement; what a PITA to flip and transfer to the baking sheet. They were very light and after what seemed like a healthy serving, both DH and I (DD wouldn't touch them: "ewwww! sour cream"?!?!) were still hungry.
I think I'll stick to my ricotta pancakes when I need a dairy/pancake hit.
