Well, Pad Thai is pretty awesome.

What recipe does everyone use for it? I use Chat Mingkwan's.

I have sort of tweaked mine to my own taste, using aspects from various recipes, and I'm always looking for something new. And one thing that I prefer in pad thai is slightly wider rice noodles, rather than the usual, about "thin spaghetti" size that is usually used.

Where are you eating pad thai?

Every pad thai I've had has been with either medium or wide rice noodles. The skinny round ones are Vietnamese.

I only eat it at home, but it seems that most pad thai that I see on a show or in photos has those skinny noodles.

Yah, around here it is served with broad noodles. Now, to be fair, I don't think many (if any) thai places around here are run by thai people, along with "Japanese".

The most common version is the "medium" rice noodles, which are about the size of mass-market fettucine.

That is pretty much what you see here too, fettucine sized.

My go to recipe is take-out (and it comes with fettuccine like rice noodles).
