So mom and I are going to Stratford, CA in September, and were thinking of detouring to visit the tunnel of trees in Michigan on our way home. I remember reading about a classy restaurant at one end of the road, but am not finding it using my moderate google-fu. Any ideas? And if anyone would want to meet up, we will be hitting Ann Arbor and Zimmermans on the 12 of September.

I live in Michigan, and I'm like, "What's the tunnel of trees?"

I looked it up. I think we have a lot of those, but I'm willing to believe that one is particularly nicer than any of the others. It certainly looks longer than most.

Not that any of this is helpful in any way.

I'm originally from Detroit and for a while was a Yooper.
Never heard of the tunnel of trees.

The Tunnel of Trees is a favorite road for motorcyclists. I have ridden this road many times. It is highway 119 and it starts in Harbor Springs. The restaurant you are thinking about is called Legs Inn in Cross Village. It is a Polish Restaurant and the food is worth the drive.
