I rode my motorcycle to LasVegas last week. I rode a total of 2,400 miles to get there. Last Thursday was my first night there and a friend of mine who lives there, suggested this restaurant. http://www.carsonkitchen.com. It is now my favorite restaurant. We had the Watermelon salad, the Oxtail risotto, the Greek tacos, the mac and cheese, the Bacon Jam, the Crispy Chicken Skins and the Wineberry Shortcake. Everything was amazing except for the Bacon jam. Neither one of us liked it and the waiter took it off of our bill. The whole vibe is very cool and the service was very attentive.

You know, the next time I can't avoid going back to Vegas, you will be my restaurant guide.

We have been trying to get to Vegas for 12 years now and now I want to go even more.

Jean,

Next time I have to go for a conference, I'll send you instead. Can you take good notes?

Vegas has a lot of cool places to eat. I went to Chef Rubber last Friday and I met a caterer and she gave me her card. She wants me to call her the next time I am in town and we are going to a couple of her favorite places and discover some new places she hasn't tried.

Thanks for the recommendation. My husband is going to Vegas next week and I have passed the info along.

Will he be going to Chef Rubber for you? If he is, have him ask for some free samples of some things he thinks you might like. They gave me about 10 of the push up cups in different shapes. Also, look at the Silicone rubber molds for Candy and Baking before he goes. The price has been reduced to $12.50 for the small orange molds. That is a really good price for silicone molds.

He is going on business and won't have a car, so he won't be going. But that sounds like fun.

Where is he staying? He could probably walk there if he is staying at the South End of the Strip.

Absolutely. :-) Can you come to my house and watch 2 teenage (eep) boys while I'm there?
