It's just a regular Saturday here - I know I will grill but no clue yet. Maybe I should get on that. ;-)

Jean,

Maybe you should grill some hot dogs and burgers on my behalf. ;-)

Marinated tenderloin with a strong tilt towards Greek seasonings, Caesar salad with croutons browned in Plugra, sloooowww roasted (caramelized) mushrooms & onions, 2010 AA Badenhorst blend red wine that requires 3 hours breathing time. We are in the middle of a typical prairie thunderstorm with all the trimmings right now this afternoon so we should have a beautiful, clear evening :!: Unfortunately, being in Canuckland, no fireworks so I'll light a sparkler  I do have my Stars & Stripes socks on   :D

I'm being amused that only the Canadians have replied to this thread ...

The usual ... ribs, corn on the cob, tater salad, pea salad, peach pie, blueberry bars, iced tea, beer and fireworks. Happy 4th everyone.

For once we are having beautiful weather in the Great Northwest…usually it doesn't get warm until July 5…
Large party with burgers and brats, everyone brings an app or a side dish…50 crabs pulled out in the last 2 days…Swimming and kayaking, and, of course, lots of fireworks shot over the water. And the best part is that it is at my daughter's home, not mine!

Cookie,

You guys are still getting crabs? Lucky! I so would have had crab if we weren't down to tank-raised here.

We have been getting a lot of crab the last couple of years….salmon, not so much. We did see family of about 7 whales out cavorting for a couple of days, so the salmon must be there somewhere….
