 Post subject: New Favorite Rum Cake Recipe

I have been using the same Rum cake recipe for years and I really like it. Today I decided to make this recipe for my Mom's birthday cake. My mom has a friend who has a Condo on 7 Mile Beach in Grand Cayman and so we have eaten a lot of Tortuga Rum Cakes. This recipe is very close to the taste of these cakes and this recipe is my new go to recipe for Rum Cake.

I only had White Rum. My other Rum Cake recipe uses Dark rum and I must be out. I was going to use Half White and Half Dark to make a Golden Rum.

One of my coworker's 40th birthday was yesterday and I baked one of these cakes. Again, it was excellent and so easy to make.
