Just received this for getting older. Published in 2008 it contains a wide variety of Italy-based recipes from the SF/Oakland located restaurants. A16 is a restaurant and wine bar named after the highway that transverses the Southern Italian region of Campania. The book and the restaurants receive very high reviews so I am looking forward to some serious playing the rest of summer. :D Fuzzy, have you eaten there?

Wino,

Oddly enough, no. It's always been a rather heavily "Marina Yuppie" place, so I've never been willing to make the effort. Something about having all the other diners guessing how much money I make puts me off ...

Is it your birthday? Isn't it strange that our birthday guy doesn't report his own?

If so, have a happy one!

Obviously, many thanks for your good wishes. I didn't proclaim myself as it seemed a little silly . . . not that I'm above or beyond that  I had not considered that my 'Birthday Announcer' role might confound the social mix, it is something I check out each morning at 4:30AM when we wake up to workout - have coffee, check Cookaholics - doesn't everyone live this way :?:
Again, THANKS, it's been great so far and I can't wait to see how the next 65 turn out :D ;)

Wow! So, does that mean you're "retired" now?

Do we need to hire a new Bday greeter? ;-)

How did I miss this? Best wishes on this day that is not your birthday. I need to get up earlier.
