So there's now a hard cider revival of sorts going on in California. It started out as a way to save the Gravenstein, and has bloomed since, it turns out, people like cider. From the Chron:

Further, San Francisco apparently has a new Cider Pub, with 90 ciders on tap or in bottles. I'm going to go try it out soon, and I'll let you know which ciders are really special.

Andy's a huge hard cider fan as well. Can't wait to hear what you think!

That is great news. I love hard cider. I buy the Spanish ones from the Cuban Food Market now as they are the only ones I can get. Nice pints of pub cider was one of my favorite things when I lived in England.
