I may be going to a more set schedule at work, and that might (and I emphasize might) make September less doable for me.

That would definitely not be good.

I know Ilene, but it would be good for me. My EC is trying to get me to full-time. I would be adding sous vide and line responsibilities.

Well, it's official...beginning with the summer season I'll be full-time at the restaurant. So, while I don't know what days I'll be working, I think it's a pretty safe bet I'd not be able to make it to Denver in September.

What will work for you....I have my meeting at Johnson & Wales tomorrow, so I would like some alternative dates that might work.
ilene

PS...congratulations, I know that is what you were hoping for.

iirc, we closed last year about the middle of October, so any weekend from the 15th on would likely work for me.

And, thanks. Yes, it is what I wanted...got a raise too.

Perhaps I am overly pessimistic about the possiblility of snow, but I think that the middle to the end of Oct will be risky. What if we tried for something the third week of May, would that possibly work for you?

I'll be in NYC. Got to take advantage of off-season, and get out of Dodge! Plus, that's pretty short notice for most people.

I don't worry about snow in Denver in October, but I certainly do in the mountains!

Will others please weigh in on the date change to mid October. It could be absolutely beautiful here or it could snow and or be cold. In my 25 years it has run the gamut in October. I need to know if you are all willing to risk it.

HEY! What's happening with this thing :?: Ain't it or isn't gonna happen and, if so, wheres and whens :?
I've lurked so long I had to surface for more wine :D As the song goes, "It don't matter to me..." so I've been waiting for the constrained ones to make a decision. Now it seems to have hibernated :(

I promise to try REAL hard to show myself... 'Course that could a bad thing  :P
