I have the first Momofuku book, and was not impressed with it. Many of the recicpes were just too complex for the average home cook too bother with (large numbers of ing. don't bother me, but this was more along the lines of excessive steps), and too much of the book is non-recipe hype. Hopefully, they have improved since then.
