What gives me problems is an ingredient divided over 2 steps. I end up putting it all in during the first step. Mary |

The good authors will have it listed separately, or something like "1/2 c oil, divided", giving an indication that it will be used more than once during the preparation of the recipe. |

Oh, gods, yeah. My favorite is this: 1/4 C. olive oil ... Put 2 Tbs of the olive oil in the pan ... ... Serves 6. Wait! What happened to the other 2 Tbs olive oil? What am I supposed to do with it? |
