Hi Looking for cookbooks that advocate the diet eaten by people in the Mediterrean area. Healthy food. Thanks Kathy

I like The New Persian Kitchen by Louisa Shafia - different flavors, but largely produce oriented.

I've ordered 6 books on the subject from my library. Picked up 2 yesterday. First is "The Advanced Mediterranean Diet" by Steve Parker. Not too many recipes and those I read make way too may servings for us. I can't see that they get into food until page 215. I may return this one without reading it.
The second is Nancy Harmon Jenkins' book "The New Mediterranean Diet" which appears to be very similar to several books I have by Martha Rose Shulman. The recipes sound good. It's more my speed but do I need another Mediterranean cookbook? This is one I will read.
I'll let you know when the other books arrive.
