I've begun cleaning out my Mom's place, and I found a cookbook from the 60s she kept after pretty much fully divesting herself of all of her other books in an attempt to downsize. It's called Greek Cooking for the Gods.

I can't wait to make something! Pretty good book from first glance...

There's a great Gary Larson cartoon with a waitress in a diner talking to Thor, Odin and a few others, explains that they don't really serve the food of the gods.....

This one cracks me up...

Gourounopoulo Psito...aka roast suckling pig. Note: the small potatoes are optional.

Ay

Amy,

Well, it was successful enough for multiple reprints, the last one in 1996.

I have an affinity for Greek cooking, having had a Greek boyfriend for several years of high school. ;) Let us know how the book is... I am always looking to add to my collection!
