Me too, and I couldn't get past the language in the one I had. Could not leave it in the kitchen for the kids for sure. There weren't any recipes iirc in the one I had.

I just got the latest Saveur - "The Fall Cooking Issue". James Oseland is still the EIC, and it looks like a usual Saveur, with some good articles, as well as recipes that I want to try!

That will be the last Oseland-helmed Saveur, I'm afraid. It will take a few months before any new editorial "voice" will be heard because I'm sure they work many months ahead on content.

On the other hand, I just cancelled my subscription with 6 issues left to go.

It was just too depressing seeing it show up in my mailbox.
