Culture Cheese magazine has generally always had some pictures of baby goats, sheep and/or calves in their various farmstead cheese articles. It was pretty blatant pandering, but ... look! Baby goats! Awwwwwwwwwwww.

This quarter, they've given up even pretending the baby animals are about cheese. There's a full-on four-page spread of baby animals.

There's also a very useful article on how to smoke cheese using a can, a soldering iron, some wood chips and a kettle grill. Beat's Frank's $50 cold smoker by about $35, assuming you already have the grill.

Without baby animals, there would be no milk. Without milk, there would be no cheese. Therefore, all baby mammals are about cheese!

Becky,

I'm not sure about that. They included a porcupine.

Q: "How do you milk a porcupine?"

A: "Very carefully."

Josh,

I looked at this issue in the market today. Personally, I loved the spreads...they were all so cute!
