It is whipped cream. There was syrup on the side, just because.
I weighed the flours
These really are fabulous!

Wino
That was all I needed to see to convince me to try the pancakes....now I have to think up a reason for Sunday Brunch and invite folks.

If you are going to have sides - fruit salad, meat (BACON!), etc. - then 2 of these per person are plenty. I doubled the recipe and got 16 using a 1/3 cup to 'pour' - these don't pour, they glump! They glump so much that I really expected them to be wet in the middle even though the outsides showed 'done' - they were PERFECT!

Wino, beautiful pancakes. They look delish along with the berries and cream. Mmmmm.

Those pancakes look amazing. I am positive Katie and Donna will love them, so I will trying them soon.

Darcie, I am sorry about the column, but ... as I have learned in my own life and my own career in the past five years, everything happens for a reason. You are clearly meant for bigger and better things than the role of "the help." The baking blog business might be stiff, but you are so amazingly talented, I have no doubt you will break away from the rest of the pack in short order :)

Keep doing what you love Darcie. The fact that the CG is not on board with you should be irrelevant to your love of baking and sharing that enthusiasm with others. I love knowing that you are here on this board to run a question by if I am having a meltdown on a baking topic.

Can you freeze pancakes? If so how and how would you reheat them?

Wino, your comment about grandma leaving the coffee and gulping down the pancakes was nice. Thanks for the photo.

Lynn,

I'd freeze the batter.
