I think the fact that we all were discussing the Judy turkey and her roast chicken showed that she had an impact, and there are far worse things to be remembered for than a great recipe and a great chicken. But 57 is way.... too early. Cancer claims another victim.

First Charlie, then Judy...

A sad month in the culinary world.

Very sad....I am so glad I had a chance to dine at Zuni twice and have loved her book. She may have left this earth, but her influence will live on in many of us.

Damn.

Glad I went to Zuni when I could. I actually hope they close it now, instead of letting the restaurant go to seed.

Fuzzy, nice comments on the EYB Board - am so glad that some chefs actually do stick with their restaurants and keep the quality up.
