Zehnders is in Frankenmuth, Michigan and they hold contests throughout the year. This link has the winners and their recipes.

If you join their birthday club, Zehnders buys you one of their Chicken dinners during the month of your birthday. My mom and I go in June and August for our birthdays. Their Chicken is really good. The dinner also includes, soup, homemade breads, liver pate and cheese spread, Coleslaw, Cranberry sauce, Vegetable, Buttered noodles, dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy all served family style. You also get a sundae for dessert with Hot Fudge or Caramel. You also get a coupon for a free Christmas ornament at Bronners (www.bronners.com) Bronners is the worlds largest Christmas store. If you like Christmas, you can't help but like this store.

My husband and I visited Frankenmuth in 2010 and went to Zehnders. It was late.. maybe 9pm (snuck up on us because it was light out still). We ordered the chicken, got the boatload of sides and then hubby ordered chicken livers because he doesn't get them often. Our table (a 4 person booth) was absolutely covered in serving dishes. You got all those side dishes mentioned and each was in a *serving* bowl. The smallest was a cereal bowl; the largest - the chicken livers - came on a *platter.* For two people. At 9:30 at night. I ate well, but I sure didn't sleep that night.

Great memories though. We also spent an afternoon in Bronners and bought most of our Christmas Gifts for the year there.

It was a great trip, definitely worth the visit.
