Jimbo,

One of the things it comes down to is that banning a few random commodities is far easier for lazy elected politicians than building anything of substance. Grandstanding is always attractive.

I am able to get a half lobe at a good price on occasion as my wine/deli guy has a customer who orders a half lobe a couple times a year. I split the cost and end with half at wholesale.
