I agree with Paul. Long and skinny with pointed ends = Hungarian wax peppers.

No, they're not hungarians.

These peppers actually appear to not have a name. I've heard them called "Cubanelles", which as discussed they're not, Italian Frying Peppers (a name which appears to apply to several different varieties of peppers), and simply curly peppers. So, no idea.

I found out what these peppers are called: Jimmy Nardello peppers.

A vendor at the Santa Rosa Farmer's Market had them, labelled. Yay!
