Amy,
Tempting. For me, it's the time more than the airfare. A trip to Italy means taking at least a week. I could only consider it if the next 6 months are as good for business as the last 6 have been, and as a consultant, I know better than to count money which isn't yet deposited.
Heck, I'm missing a conference in Sardinia in a couple weeks. Couldn't justify it.

I've been curious about cheval, until I leared (a) that a key source is the US and (b) the drugs they use on horses in the US they can use because the meat isn't intended for human consumption.

If you want a really reasonable beach house, we could probably rent something along the North Shore of Lake Superior! I hear if you book in January it's really cheap...

How about South Shore of Lake Superior. The cabins at Lake Fanny Hooe have those cute little stove/oven/sink/refrigerator combos in them.

So here's where everyone is! I have missed you guys! I've been away from the CI board for a while and when I came back I was shocked at how empty the place was! I'm so glad to see familiar faces here again!
Love the world tour of Fuzzy pages! You need a shot with the Golden Boy here in Winnipeg! Maybe in the summer though (30 below gets ugly).

Carey, if Fuzzy gets to Winterpeg before TO I will not be pleased.  If we are looking for the worst place for a gathering, my vote is Toronto during the next G20 summit. Glad you found us by the way!

Welcome Carey, we can always find a use for another Canadian.  We have several that are just wonderful...and one that tends to get a little out of control at times...

Recently, I cancelled my Austin trip for just such a reason - you know, dem Canajuns es so damn much fun. I do think Texans went a bit too far with the smokin' thingy this summer when they decided to do half of the whole frickin' state!
