Where is everyone? Is your disappearance weather related? Cooking related? Where are you?

I'm here too, just not much to post either. Been in kind of a slump I guess. But will be planting my garlic and shallots this weekend - woohoo!

Nothing to post from me either....not been cooking much in the last few weeks, but still check the board daily to see what the rest of you are up to.

Got nailed by my first experience with hives 4 days ago - cause unknown. This is my first day back on my feet and it looks like talapia and stir fried veges tonight. I'm doing the Prednisone treatment for 10 days and for me the main side effect is mild mania. It reminds me of playing with speed in my youth or WAY too much coffee nowadays. I'm normally pretty speedy, so my acquaintances are laughing their faces off at the thought of me going faster (good friends...). Another side benefit is insomnia - if I start babbbbbbling, let me know!

No idea from whence they came????

Even worse, that's the best you got????? I've been on pred. for 9 months; it has vastly improved my knife and driving skills, not to mention socialization and uh, ....moving things..

OMG, remind me to never do that. I have severe hives once in a while and crash and burn horribly on Benadryl, the only drug to knock me out, though typically I take it after being unable to sleep for 48 hours...

Mania is definitely the *last* thing I would need.

Tim,

I'd say, "just mail me the leftovers," but I think I'd be better off to say, "let me just mail you Andy." If a meal ever had his name written on it, it's yours. Sounds great!

KSS,

I just spend last week in Tokyo. So I'll have some fun food posts soon, but I didn't check the Board all week.
